Air
During
the spring and summer, and early fall the Museum's Sculpture
Court is also available for rental. This elegant terrace
measures 63 ft x 29 ft, accommodating 150 people, and
can be used for live musical performances or receptions.
The sculpture court overlooks Ithaca and Cayuga Lake, and
is enhanced by a collection of modern sculpture. Use of
the sculpture court, of course, is dependent on good weather.

Larger
Events
The glass-walled
lobby of the Museum is perfect for larger receptions. The
two-story ceilings and glass walls create a dramatic open
effect that lends elegance to any event. The lobby can accommodate
200 guests.
For an extra special event, the entire Museum can be kept
open after hours to allow your guests to browse in the galleries.
One thousand guests is the maximum attendance for an event
when the entire museum is rented. Food is allowed only in
the lobby and on the sixth floor. Private tours of the Museum's
current exhibitions also can be arranged for an additional
fee.

facilitate the closing of the Museum to the public at 5
p.m., the Museum requests that evening events begin no earlier
than 5:30 p.m. The Museum has a wide variety of audio/visual
and presentation equipment available for rental.
A
select group of local caterers is approved to cater events
at the Museum. Other caterers will be considered carefully.
