Student Educators: Art & the Museum (SEAM)

This group of students share a passion and appreciation for art, art history, and arts education and use the Johnson Museum as a resource to learn about educational approaches to the collection. SEAM members act as bridges between the campus, community, and the Museum, share their knowledge through tours and outreach, including support of existing Museum education programming and creating new programs.

An info session on SEAM will be held Thursday, August 31, 4:15–5:00 PM. Mandatory training sessions will be held Thursdays, September 7 & 14 at 5:15 PM.

Contact Kari O'Mara at 607 254-4657 with any questions about the program.

Student Advisory Committee

The Student Advisory Committee helps the Museum by contributing their ideas about how we can be an even more vital resource for students. Students from any academic department can participate. Contact Kari O'Mara at 607 254-4657 for more information.
