Tony Oursler has used painting, sculpture, installation, and video since the 1970s. His signature multimedia installations, such as Shadow, express unique narratives and stream-of-consciousness in a combination of video and puppets, handmade from pop culture artifacts. In this work, actress Tracy Leipold acts and speaks for the two characters, creating a bizarre and disorienting miniature theatrical scene.
