The Museum Club

Formed in 1995, the purpose of the club is to provide opportunities for Cornell students to learn about the Museum collections, exhibitions, and resources in an informal, social setting. The club also helps develop and present activities for students at the Museum, such as special events, workshops, artists' talks, and tours. The Club serves as an advisory group to the Museum's Education Department, and meets weekly at the Museum, Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. in the Museum lobby.

In the past year we have enjoyed:

  • Students-Only Jazz Night and Blues Night
  • Panel discussion on Cultural Property
  • Trip to the museums of Rochester, NY
  • Hands-on workshops
  • Student Arts Showcase featuring visual and performing student artists
  • Behind-the-scenes tours with curators
  • And much more!
